GPSC Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit (as of 16/04/2026):
- Minimum: 20 years.
- Maximum: 35 years.
- Note: Age relaxation up to 45 years is applicable for reserved categories and women as per Gujarat Govt. rules.
- Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates in their final semester/year can also apply, provided they meet the criteria by the time of the Main exam.
Selection Process
The GPSC Civil Services selection follows a rigorous three-stage process:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective type (General Studies) for 200 marks.
- Main Examination: Descriptive type (7 Papers) for a total of 900 marks.
- Interview (Personality Test): 100 marks for final evaluation.
