MPSC Group B Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As of Notification)

  • PSI: 19 to 31 Years.
  • STI & ASO: 18 to 38 Years.
  • Note: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Maharashtra government rules.

Physical Standards (Mandatory for PSI Only)

  • Male: Height: 165 cm (Min), Chest: 79 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion.
  • Female: Height: 157 cm (Min).

Selection Process

The MPSC Group B selection involves a rigorous three-tier process:

  1. Combined Preliminary Exam: A 100-mark objective test common for all posts.
  2. Main Examination: Post-specific papers carrying 400 marks.
  3. Physical Test & Interview (PSI Only): Candidates for PSI must clear a 100-mark physical test (min 60 marks to qualify) followed by an interview.
